Abstract:
Provided is a pharmaceutical composition for the prevention and/or treatment of pain, which is capable of effectively relieving pain. The pharmaceutical composition for the prevention and/or treatment of pain is characterized by containing, as an effective component thereof, a siRNA, shRNA or antisense oligonucleotide of the SNX25 gene which inhibits the expression of SNX25. The pain is neuropathic or nociceptive pain. The pharmaceutical composition for the prevention and/or treatment of pain is also characterized by containing, as an effective component thereof, an antibody that specifically binds to SNX25.
