Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for the prevention or treatment of premenstrual syndrome, containing an extract of Sarcodon aspratus as an active ingredient. Specifically, the Sarcodon aspratus extract of the present invention can eliminate symptoms of premenstrual syndrome such as lower abdominal pain, back pain, mastalgia, headaches, binge eating, insomnia, lethargy, mood swings, depression, etc. even when only being taken once, enable said effect to last for one year or longer, alleviate menstrual cramps, reduce the duration of menstruation, the amount of menstrual blood, menstrual irregularity, and blood stasis, and provide clarification for the color of menstrual blood, thereby being usefully used for the prevention or treatment of premenstrual syndrome.
