Abstract:
Disclosed is a composition for treatment of nephritis which contains a triprenyl phenol compound as an active ingredient. The composition preferably contains a triprenyl phenol compound represented by the general formula (I) below as an active ingredient, and it more preferably contains orniplabin, which is expressed as the general formula (I) below with n being 3, as an active ingredient. General formula (I) (In the formula, n represents an integer of 1-10.) Also disclosed is a method for producing a pharmaceutical composition for treatment or prevention of nephritis, which is characterized by using a triprenyl phenol compound as an active ingredient.
