Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of medicine and veterinary medicine, and more particularly to the treatment and prophylaxis of infectious inflammatory diseases. Claimed is a pharmaceutical composition containing an alkyl resorcinol and a glucan, in particular a beta glucan, which can be used to treat different infectious inflammatory diseases, including diseases caused by strains of bacteria that are resistant and/or sensitive to antibiotics.
