Abstract:
Improving the reliability of a phase-change cooling device that uses a driving source to circulate refrigerant liquid would entail complicated control. Addressing this, the present invention provides a phase-change cooling device that comprises: an evaporator for accommodating refrigerant liquid used for receiving heat from a heat-generating source; a condenser for producing refrigerant liquid by radiating the heat of refrigerant vapor produced when refrigerant liquid is evaporated by the evaporator; a refrigerant liquid driving means for circulating refrigerant liquid; a first piping part for connecting the evaporator to the condenser; a second piping part for connecting the condenser to the refrigerant liquid driving means; a third piping part for connecting the refrigerant liquid driving means to the evaporator; a refrigerant retaining means for retaining the refrigerant liquid and located in a flow passage formed by the second piping part; and a fourth piping part which has one end connected to the first piping part at a first connection point and another end connected to the refrigerant retaining means at a second connection point.
