Abstract:
This phase difference distribution estimating method comprising: a reception step of receiving an optical signal via a space to detect the phase of the optical signal; a characteristic value calculation step of calculating, from the optical signal received in the reception step, a characteristic value related to a characteristic of an atmosphere through which the optical signal propagates; an estimation step of estimating, on the basis of the characteristic value calculated in the characteristic value calculation step, a phase difference distribution of optical signals that are to be received in a predetermined time; and a control step of controlling, on the basis of the phase difference distribution estimated in the estimation step, the phase of an optical signal in the reception step.
