Abstract:
A phase shifter (1) comprises a first phase shifting circuit (11) that, when a 90-degree distributer (10) for distributing an input signal outputs a first signal, a second signal having a 90-degree phase difference from the first signal, a third signal having a 180-degree phase difference from the first signal, and a fourth signal having 270-degree phase difference from the first signal and if the frequency of the input signal is within a first frequency band, amplifies three ones of the first to fourth signals in accordance with their respective phase shifted amounts relative to the input signal and outputs a combined signal of the three signals as amplified. The phase shifter (1) comprises a second phase shifting circuit (12) that, if the frequency of the input signal is within a second frequency band that does not overlap with but is continuous to the first frequency band, amplifies two ones of the three signals and that one of the first to fourth signals which is not amplified by the first phase shifting circuit (11) in accordance with their respective phase shifted amounts, and outputs a combined signal of these three signals as amplified. Further, the phase shifter (1) is configured such that one or both of the first phase shifting circuit (11) and second phase shifting circuit (12) include a compensation circuit for compensating for phase errors of the combined signals.
