Abstract:
[1] A β-phellandrene polymer obtained by polymerization of β-phellandrene. [2] The aforementioned β-phellandrene polymer, containing a total of 50 wt% or more of β-phellandrene units represented by the following general formulas (I-1), (I-2), (II-1), and (II-2). [3] The aforementioned β-phellandrene polymer, wherein the number-average molecular weight Mn of the β-phellandrene polymer is 40,000 or above. [4] The aforementioned β-phellandrene polymer, wherein at least a portion of the olefinic carbon-carbon double bonds are hydrogenated. [5] The aforementioned β-phellandrene polymer, wherein the glass transition temperature is 80°C or above.
