Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a material which is able to be used as a heat-resistant elastic material that is applicable to heat-resistant structures.
The present invention provides a phenyl group-containing organic-inorganic hybrid prepolymer that is produced by a condensation reaction of (A) a polydimethyl siloxane having a silanol group, which is reactive with a metal and/or a semimetal alkoxide, at both ends or at one end and having a weight average molecular weight of from 3,000 to 80,000 (inclusive), and (B) a metal and/or a semimetal alkoxide and/or (C) an oligomer of the above-mentioned alkoxide, a part or the whole of said oligomer having a phenyl group introduced thereinto.
