Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to manufacture a phosphor coating device, whereby it becomes possible to form a phosphor-dispersed film having reduced unevenness in concentration and having a uniform film thickness and to prevent the residue and solidification of a phosphor at a tip of a spray nozzle in the formation of the phosphor-dispersed film by a spray technique. A phosphor coating device (10) which is so adapted that the light-emitting surface of an LED light-emitting element (3) faces in a downward direction, a spray nozzle (14) is arranged on the lower side of the LED light-emitting element, and a phosphor mixed solution (20) is sprayed in an upward direction through the spray nozzle to apply the phosphor mixed solution onto the light-emitting surface. A method for manufacturing a light-emitting device, involving an upward coating step of ejecting the phosphor mixed solution (20) in an upward direction through the spray nozzle (14) using the phosphor coating device to apply the phosphor mixed solution (20) onto the light-emitting surface, whereby it becomes possible to manufacture an LED light source equipped with a phosphor-dispersed film having reduced unevenness in concentration and having a uniform film thickness.
