Abstract:
Provided are: a phosphor-containing film with which it is possible to suppress the deterioration of the phosphor and which is also suitable for manufacturing using a roll-to-roll method; and a backlight unit provided with the phosphor-containing film. Between two facing substrate films, one main surface has a first resin layer having a first concavo-convex shape, a second resin layer having a second concavo-convex shape facing the main surface of the first resin layer that has the first concavo-convex shape, and a third layer that follows the first concavo-convex shape and the second concavo-convex shape between the first resin layer and the second resin layer. The two substrate films are each a barrier film comprising a support film and a barrier layer laminated on the support film. The first resin layer and the second resin layer contain the phosphor, and the third layer is formed of an inorganic material.
