Abstract:
The present invention enables a phosphor member to output fluorescent light more efficiently. A phosphor member (200) which is provided with a substrate (210) and a phosphor layer (220) that is arranged on the substrate. This phosphor member (200) is characterized in that: the phosphor layer contains a phosphor film (222); the phosphor film is configured so as to contain phosphor particles and a binder that is composed of an inorganic substance; the refractive index difference between the binder and the phosphor particles is 0.2 or more; and the binder has an average particle diameter of 50 μm or less.
