Abstract:
Provided is a phosphor having a plate-shaped phosphor body, a bonding member, and a condensing optical member. The condensing optical member has at least one convex surface, and is fixed to the plate-shaped phosphor body by the bonding member. The bonding member forms a fillet shape between the surface of the plate-shaped phosphor body to which the condensing optical member is bonded and the convex surface of the condensing optical member. When the height of the fillet shape from the surface of the plate-shaped phosphor to which the condensing optical member is bonded is denoted by X, and the maximum distance of the condensing optical member from the surface of the plate-shaped phosphor to which the condensing optical member is bonded is denoted by Y, the height X is equal to or less than 2/3 of the maximum distance Y.
