Abstract:
A phosphor which comprises the following fluorescent substances (I) and (II), wherein the fluorescent substance (I) contains a silicic acid salt and Mn as an activating agent, and the fluorescent substance (II) contains a compound represented by the formula (1), or, a compound represented by the formula (2), and Tb as an activating agent; (M11-aM2a)(Mg1-b-cZnb)Al11-dMnc+dO19-(a+d)/2 (1) [wherein M1 is at least one selected from the group consisting of La, Y and Gd, M2 is at least one selected from the group consisting of Ca, Sr and Ba, a is 0 to 0.6, b is 0 to 1, c is 0 to 0.5, d is 0 to 0.5, b + d is 1 or less, and c + d is more than 0 and 0.5 or less]; and M32O3 • mAl2O3 • nB2O3 (2) [wherein M3 is at least one selected from the group consisting of La, Y and Gd, m is 2.5 to 4.5, and n is 3.5 to 5.5 ]. The phosphor and a phosphor paste made of the phosphor exhibits high brightness even when they are exposed to a plasma.
