Title:
PHOSPHORESCENT LIGHT-EMITTING ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/056931
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a light-emitting element that uses a metal that is low-cost compared with platinum-group metals as a light-emitting material, and that has superior color purity during light emission. The present invention provides a light-emitting element containing a complex exhibiting phosphorescent light-emission properties and represented by compositional formula (1): (M+)(L1)a(X1)b (In the formula, M+ is Cu+ or Ag+. L1 is a ligand that has two phosphorus atoms as atoms that can coordinate with M+. X1 is an anion, and a and b are each independently a positive number. If the complex contains a plurality of L1, each L1 may be the same or different from the others. If the complex contains a plurality of X1, each X1 may be the same or different from the others.)
