Abstract:
Disclosed are phosphorus-nitrogen-containing polymer-modified silica nanoparticles, a preparation method therefor and the use thereof, which relate to organic/inorganic hybrid nanoparticles, wherein SiO2 is dispersed in an organic solvent, then, tetrakis(hydroxymethyl)phosphonium sulfate (THPS, 75%) is added and stirred, and finally, p-phenylenediamine is added and reacted for a certain period of time; and following procedures such as centrifugation, washing, and drying, the phosphorus-nitrogen-containing polymer-modified SiO2 nanoparticles are obtained. The polymer-modified SiO2 nanoparticles can have the effects of reinforcement and flame retardation in a polymer matrix, and are expected to be widely used in the halogen-free synergistic flame retardation of polymer materials.
