Title:
PHOTOACOUSTIC DEVICE, PROBE FOR PHOTOACOUSTIC DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR OBTAINING PHOTOACOUSTIC DETECTION SIGNAL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/114878
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To sufficiently widen the band of a probe for a photoacoustic device. [Solution] A probe for a photoacoustic device, said probe detecting photoacoustic waves emitted from a body to be tested after the body to be tested has been irradiated with light. The probe for a photoacoustic device is provided with: an inorganic transducer that comprises a lower electrode (52), an inorganic piezoelectric thin film (53), and an upper electrode (54), and that detects photoacoustic waves in a predetermined first frequency domain; and an organic transducer that comprises a lower electrode (56), an organic piezoelectric thin film (57), and an upper electrode (58), that is formed so that the area of the signal electrode is larger than the inorganic transducer, and that detects photoacoustic waves in a second frequency domain that includes a domain of a lower frequency than the first frequency domain.
