Title:
PHOTOCATALYST AND GUARDRAIL CAPABLE OF REMOVING NITROGEN OXIDES
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/245149
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a photocatalyst and a guardrail capable of removing NOx. The photocatalyst is a titanium dioxide (TiO2) photocatalyst having lead (Pb), as a necessary metal element, and one element selected from sodium (Na), calcium (Ca) and nickel (Ni), as a selected metal element, simultaneously doped in a titanium dioxide lattice structure; and the guardrail has formed thereon a coating layer of a paint containing the photocatalyst. According to the present invention, the photocatalyst exhibits an excellent NOx removal effect, and the guardrail effectively removes NOx in, especially, vehicle emissions, and thus a particular effect is achieved whereby a pleasant and hygienic environment may be provided to a driver.
