Abstract:
A photocatalytic air purifier and a photocatalyst unit which can be accommodated to various air paths having different areas of opening. Units including photocatalytic units (20, 120, 220) having the same configuration are arranged side by side in the direction perpendicular to the air flow direction (A). Each photocatalytic unit is provided with: a first opening (41, 141) formed in a case so as to face either the upstream side or the downstream side in the air flow direction; a photocatalytic filter (22) and a light emitting source (23) which are arranged within the case; and a second opening (42, 142) and a third opening (43, 143) which are formed in the case and face each other, and the photocatalytic filter is disposed between the second opening and the third opening so as to allow air to pass therethrough. In all the photocatalytic units, the first openings of two adjacent photocatalyst units face the opposite directions with respect to the air flow direction (A), and the second opening of one of the two adjacent photocatalytic units and the third opening of the other photocatalytic unit face each other.
