Abstract:

A photochromic nano-composite microsphere and a coating material and a photochromic optical material prepared therefrom, and a coating using the coating material. The photochromic nano-composite microsphere has a three-layer composite core-shell structure, a core of which is a zinc sulfide mesoporous nanosphere, an intermediate layer is a photochromic layer composed of a spiropyran compound, and an outer shell is a polyurethane. The composite microsphere has an outer diameter of 50-350 nm, wherein the diameter of the zinc sulfide mesoporous nanosphere is 30-250 nm, the thickness of the intermediate layer is 5-25 nm, and the thickness of the outer shell is 5-25 nm. The photochromic composite microsphere can be prepared into a photochromic coating or doped into a resin optical material to form a photochromic material. The material can change from colorless to colored under ultraviolet irradiation and can quickly fade to colorless after the ultraviolet light is removed, and has the advantages of strong fatigue resistance, good stability, and fast discoloration speed.
