Title:
PHOTOCURABLE INK COMPOSITION FOR INKJET PRINTING
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/134962
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a photocurable ink composition for inkjet printing which exhibits: excellent curability by way of ultraviolet light, in particular ultraviolet light having a light-emitting diode (LED) as a light source; excellent adhesion to a polyvinyl chloride-based sheet or the like; and excellent ink coating film flexibility. Provided is a photocurable ink composition for inkjet printing which includes a photopolymerizable component and a photopolymerization initiator. The photocurable ink composition for inkjet printing includes, with respect to the total mass of the photopolymerizable component, 70-100 mass% of monofunctional monomers. The monofunctional monomers comprise a monofunctional monomer (A) having a homopolymer glass transition temperature of at least 20˚C, and a monofunctional monomer (B) having a homopolymer glass transition temperature of less than 20˚C. (A) accounts for 30-90 mass% of the total mass of the photopolymerizable component, and (B) accounts for 10-70 mass% thereof.
