Title:
PHOTOCURABLE RESIN COMPOSITION AND OPTICAL MATERIAL OBTAINED THEREFROM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/158832
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention is a photocurable resin composition comprising a specific, cationically polymerizable compound (A), a photo-acid generator (B), and zirconium oxide particles (C) having an average primary-particle diameter in a specific range. The photocurable resin composition has the following property (X): in an examination with a photoreaction calorimeter (light DSC), when the photocurable resin composition is irradiated with an Hg-i line at an luminance of 10 mW, the total calorific value during the period of 15 minutes after initiation of the irradiation is 100 mJ/mg or greater. That is, the so-called photo-curing reaction rapidly proceeds in the initial stage of light exposure, and the photocurable resin composition generates the heat of reaction in an amount not less than a certain value. Due to this, a cured material obtained by photocuring the photocurable resin composition has a high refractive index and a large Abbe number as a matter of course. In addition, since the photocuring reaction of the photocurable resin composition proceeds at a high rate, the zirconium oxide particles (C) during the curing reaction are less apt to aggregate or become uneven, and a highly transparent cured object which has little turbidity and a low haze is obtained.
