Abstract:
A photodetector (100) is provided with a first avalanche photodiode (APD) (10) sensitive to incident light, and a second APD (20) through which a constant current flows regardless of incident light. One terminal of the first APD (10) is electrically connected to one terminal of the second APD (20). The other terminal of the first APD (10) and the other terminal of the second APD (20) are respectively connected to mutually different power supplies. The one terminal of the first APD (10) and the one terminal of the second APD (20) are both anodes or cathodes.
