A photoelectric conversion apparatus (10A) is provided with: a first base material (21); a second base material (22); and a semiconductor layer (31), a first current collector (51), an electrolyte layer (41), a catalyst layer (32), and a second current collector (61) that are formed between the first base material (21) and the second base material (22), in this order from the first base material (21) side. The first base material (21) and the second base material (22) are sealed at the outer edge sections thereof. The photoelectric conversion apparatus (10A) is further provided with a lead member for outputting the generated power, said lead member being composed of conductive material pieces and comprising a lead-member body section (52) and a lead-member extending section. A lead-member body section (62) is mounted on the outer edge section of the first current collector (51), and the lead-member extending section protrudes outside the photoelectric conversion apparatus (10A).
