Abstract:
The present invention reduces reflective light of a rear-surface irradiation type photoelectric conversion element. This photoelectric conversion element is provided with an on-chip lens, a substrate, a front-surface side reflective film, and a rear-surface side reflective film. The on-chip lens condenses incident light. The substrate has a photoelectric conversion unit for performing photoelectric conversion of the condensed incident light and is irradiated with the condensed incident light on the rear surface side. The front-surface side reflective film is disposed on the front surface side that is different from the rear surface side of the substrate, and reflects transmissive light that is the incident light having passed through the photoelectric conversion unit. The rear-surface side reflective film is disposed on the rear surface side of the substrate, is provided with an opening with a size approximately equal to the condensed size of the condensed incident light, and further reflects the reflected transmissive light.
