Abstract:
This imaging element or photoelectric conversion element is obtained by sequentially laminating at least a positive electrode 21, a carrier blocking layer 22, an organic photoelectric conversion layer 23 and a negative electrode 25. The carrier blocking layer 22 is composed of a material having a structural formula (1) and some of the organic semiconductor materials that constitute the organic photoelectric conversion layer.
