Abstract:
The present invention addresses a first problem of providing a photoelectric conversion element having high external quantum efficiency and little response variation. The present invention also addresses a second problem of providing an imaging element, an optical sensor, and a compound, which pertain to said photoelectric conversion element. A photoelectric conversion element according to the present invention has a conductive film, a photoelectric conversion film, and a transparent conductive film in this order, wherein the photoelectric conversion film contains a compound represented by formula (1).
