Abstract:
Disclosed is a photoelectric conversion element including: a semiconductor electrode (108) including a semiconductor layer (103) and pigment; a counter electrode (109); and an electrolyte layer (104) provided between the semiconductor electrode (108) and the counter electrode (109). The pigment includes a compound represented by the following general formula (1).
(1) (In the following formula (1), A is a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic group, which may contain one or more oxygen, nitrogen, sulfur, silicon, phosphorus, boron or halogen atoms. Also, the aromatic group may comprise a plurality of condensed aromatic groups.)
