Title:
PHOTOELECTRIC CONVERSION ELEMENT, PIGMENT FOR PHOTOELECTRIC CONVERSION ELEMENT AND COMPOUND
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/046592
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a photoelectric conversion element with improved photoelectric conversion characteristics and durability. The disclosed photoelectric conversion element is provided with a working electrode having a pigment-supporting metal oxide electrode in which the pigment is supported on a metal oxide layer. The pigment used has a structure represented in general formula (I). (In formula (I), A is a structure having a 350-500nm maximum absorption wavelength λmax in methanol solution, B is a cyanine skeleton having a 500-700nm maximum absorption wavelength λmax in methanol solution, Z1 is a divalent linking group chosen from -CONR-, -NRCO-, -SO2NR- and -NRSO2-, R in Z1 is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group with 1-8 carbon atoms, or an aryl alkyl group of 7-20 carbon atoms, Y1 and Y2 are independently an alkylene group of 1-8 carbon atoms or a single bond, and can be the same or different, r is 1 or 2, and m and n are independently integers 0-2 with (m+n) greater than or equal to 1.)
