Abstract:
Provided are a photoelectric conversion element that exhibits a high photoelectric conversion efficiency even under indoor LED light illumination, a solar cell using the photoelectric conversion element, and a composition. The photoelectric conversion element (10A) comprises a first electrode (1A) which includes, on a conductive support member (11), a photosensitive layer (13A) including a light absorbing agent; and a second electrode (2) opposing the first electrode (1A). The light absorbing agent includes a compound with a perovskite-type crystal structure having an organic cation, a cation of a metallic atom, and an anion. The organic cation includes a first organic cation expressed by a formula (1) R1-N(R1a)3 +, and a second organic cation expressed by a formula (2) R2-N(R2a)3 +, wherein the content [A1] of the first organic cation and the content [A2] of the second organic cation satisfy a molar ratio relationship defined by 999 < [A2]/[A1] ≤ 99,999.
