Abstract:
This photoelectric conversion element is provided with at least one photoelectric conversion cell. The photoelectric conversion cell is provided with a pair of substrates, an oxide semiconductor layer provided on one of the pair of substrates, an electrolyte provided between the pair of substrates, and an annular seal which bonds the pair of substrates together. The at least one of the substrates comprises an annular bonded portion which is bonded to the seal, and a non-bonded portion which is disposed inside of the bonded portion and is not bonded to the seal. The bonded portion comprises multiple first linear parts spaced from one another, and a first linking part which links together two of the multiple linear parts. Further, given a first intersect area made by extending and intersecting the two linear parts, when viewing the substrate in the thickness direction, the first linking part is formed by cutting out, along the entire thickness direction of the substrate, the corner of the first intersect area that is disposed opposite of the non-bonded portion.
