Abstract:
This photoelectric sensor comprises: a mounting stand (33a) for mounting a workpiece (W1); a projection means (4) having a laser diode (41) and a converging lens (45); and a photodiode (52) for receiving, at a position in the same plane as the mounting stand (33a), laser light (LB) that is transmitted through a detection region (DA), the optical axis of the laser light (LB) projected from the converging lens (45) being set so that the laser light (LB) is incident in the direction orthogonal to the incidence surface of the photodiode (52), and a focal point is formed on the incidence surface of the photodiode (52).
