Abstract:
This photoelectric sensor (11) is provided with: a light projection part (12) that projects light; a light receiving part (13) that receives light; a plurality of auxiliary output terminals (30) capable of outputting high level or low level signals to the outside; and a control part (20) that controls the light projection part and the light receiving part and outputs set output information through the auxiliary output terminals. The control part converts a received light amount to light reception levels divided into three or more levels by comparing the received light amount received by the light receiving part with a plurality of thresholds, and outputs, as binary numbers, the reception levels through the plurality of auxiliary output terminals.
