Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a photographing apparatus and photographing method and a program that make it possible to take photographs while irradiating with light of an optimal wavelength without a user needing to be conscious of subject type. A wavelength of light optimal for analysis of an object is specified as an active wavelength from a multispectral image in which the object has been irradiated with white light, the object is irradiated with light of the active wavelength, the object is photographed in this state as a multispectral image, and the object is analyzed on the basis of a spectral image in the active wavelength. The present invention can be applied to an endoscope apparatus.
