Provided in the present disclosure are a photographing processing method and apparatus for a terminal, and an electronic device and a storage medium. A terminal comprises at least one camera, and the at least one camera comprises a front camera. The photographing processing method comprises: acquiring an action event of a preset area of a terminal; and in response to the action event of the preset area, starting an object camera of at least one camera of the terminal, wherein the action event is triggered by an operation of touching the terminal with a preset action, and the preset area comprises an area on a screen of the terminal that a peripheral area surrounding the periphery of a front camera and the front camera jointly correspond to. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the starting of a camera is controlled by means of monitoring whether there is an action event triggered by a user touching an area of a front camera according to a preset action, such that the camera can be conveniently and quickly started to enable a photographing function, without the need to additionally add a hardware structure. Therefore, the embodiments of the present disclosure have general availability.
