Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to shorten a display delay time in a live view display. A photography device comprises: an image data generation means for generating image data, on a line unit basis of a display unit, on the basis of an output of an image capture sensor wherein a commencement and a termination of a charge accumulation on the line unit basis are controlled; a display control means for displaying the generated image data, on the display in order on the line unit basis; and a control means for, when a first time has elapsed after commencing the charge accumulation of an image capture line, terminating the charge accumulation thereof, and, when a second time has elapsed after terminating the charge accumulation of the image capture line, commencing the display of the image data of a display line which corresponds to the image capture line. The second time is a time required from the termination of the charge accumulation of the image capture line to the commencement of the display of the image data in the display line. In the control means, the charge accumulation of the image capture line is commenced such that the first time is less than or equal to (a vertical synchronization interval of the image sensor − the second time).
