Abstract:
A photography gimbal having a portable device clamping function, comprising a gimbal body (1). A clamping assembly (20) is movably disposed on the gimbal body (1). The clamping assembly (20) is capable of moving to a position above the gimbal body (1) and forming a clamping space for clamping a portable device. The gimbal body (1) is provided with an accommodating space capable of partially or completely accommodating the clamping assembly (20). The clamping assembly (20) extends out of the accommodating space and moves to a position above the gimbal body (1), so that two side portions of the portable device are clamped between a clamping jaw (22) and the gimbal body (1), thereby preventing the clamping assembly (20) from exposure to occupy the storage space when not in use. Also provided is a photography tripod employing the photography gimbal. The photography tripod has the function of clamping a portable device, such as a mobile phone.
