Abstract:
This photoluminescent pigment is a photoluminescent pigment including flaky particles and a metal oxide layer coating the surface of the flaky particles. The photoluminescent pigment has a particle diameter corresponding to a 90% volume-cumulative particle diameter from the small particle diameter side, in the particle size distribution, of no more than 55 µm. The flaky particles comprise a material having a refractive index of 1.4-1.8, and the flaky particles have an average thickness of 0.35-0.55 µm, and do not substantially contain flaky particles having a thickness of no more than 0.15 µm.
