Title:
PHOTOOXYGENATION CATALYST COMPOUND HAVING PHENOTHIAZINE SKELETON AND MEDICINE CONTAINING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/145368
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] The present invention addresses the problem of developing a photocatalyst compound that is capable of efficiently oxygenating amyloids in a low aggregation state and at a low concentration and that could reduce cytotoxicity under light irradiation, and, furthermore, the purpose of the present invention is to provide a prophylactic/therapeutic agent for amyloid-related diseases employing said novel photocatalyst compound. [Solution] It has been shown that it is possible to selectively oxygenate amyloids by means of light irradiation while suppressing stacking of catalyst molecules on each other and reducing cytotoxicity as a result of employing a photocatalyst compound having a mother skeleton in which a phenothiazine structure and a morpholine structure are joined and in which a side chain having a specific structure is also introduced. In addition, it has been shown that said compound is capable of efficiently oxygenating amyloids in a low aggregation state and at a low concentration.
