Title:
PHOTOPOLYMERIZATION METHOD, INK SET, IMAGE FORMATION METHOD, INK COMPOSITION, AND PHOTOPOLYMERIZATION INITIATOR AND WATER-SOLUBLE BIIMIDAZOLE USED THEREIN
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/045818
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This photopolymerization method photopolymerizes, under acidic conditions, an ink composition containing (A) a polymerizable compound, (B) a photopolymerization initiator, and (C) a hydrogen donor. This photopolymerization method photopolymerizes, under acidic conditions, an ink composition containing (A) a polymerizable compound having an ethylenic unsaturated group, (B) a photopolymerization initiator represented by general formula (1), and (C) a hydrogen donor having a structure in which a nitrogen atom is linked directly to an aromatic ring, the hydrogen donor being such that the aromatic ring has an electron-withdrawing group or such that the nitrogen atom is a constituent of a hetero ring. In general formula (1), R1-R30 represent hydrogen atoms, halogen atoms, alkyl groups, or alkoxy groups.
