Abstract:
The present invention relates to a photoresponsive micelle complex for treatment of inflammatory diseases and, more specifically, to a photoresponsive micelle complex for prevention or treatment of inflammatory diseases or infectious diseases, the micelle complex having a core-shell structure which comprises: (i) a core including methylene blue and an organic acid linked to the methylene blue through an ionic bond; and (ii) a shell, composed of fatty acids, encapsulating the core in a micelle form, whereby the complex can act topically and has synergistic antibacterial and antiviral effects when exposed to light.
