Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of economically providing a photosensitive flexographic printing plate original plate in which resistance to plate surface contamination can be sustained in the printing step, and with which printed matter can be reliably obtained even in long-run printing. The present invention is a flexographic printing plate that includes at least a substrate and a photosensitive resin layer, the photosensitive resin layer containing at least (a) a hydrophilic polymer, (b) a hydrophilic monomer, (c) a photopolymerization initiator, (d) a hydrophilic plasticizer, and (e) an ink repellent. When exposure and development have been performed so that at least 99 out of 100 3% dots at 175 lpi are reproduced, the contact angle with the tripropylene glycol diacrylate of the photosensitive resin layer after photocuring is 40–70° inclusive, and the percentage change in weight after 24 hours of immersion at 50°C in the tripropylene glycol diacrylate of the photosensitive resin layer after photocuring is –4.0 to 4.0% inclusive.
