Abstract:
A photosensor according to the present disclosure is provided with: a first electrode; a second electrode; a photoelectric conversion layer that is arranged between the first electrode and the second electrode and generates an electrical charge by means of photoelectric conversion; a first charge blocking layer that is arranged between the first electrode and the photoelectric conversion layer; a second charge blocking layer that is arranged between the second electrode and the photoelectric conversion layer; a voltage supply circuit that applies a voltage to at least one of the first electrode and the second electrode so that an electric field in the direction from the second electrode toward the first electrode is generated within the photoelectric conversion layer; and a detection circuit that detects a signal corresponding to the capacity change between the first electrode and the second electrode, said change being caused by light incident on the photoelectric conversion layer. The first charge blocking layer is configured so as to suppress hole movement from the photoelectric conversion layer to the first electrode and electron movement from the first electrode to the photoelectric conversion layer; and the second charge blocking layer is configured so as to suppress electron movement from the photoelectric conversion layer to the second electrode and hole movement from the second electrode to the photoelectric conversion layer.
