Abstract:
The present invention relates to a photothermal drying device and a drying method using the photothermal drying device, wherein the device especially uses high temperature photo-infrared complex heat to expel moisture from the inside of an object-to-be-dried in a drying method such as a rapid freezing method, and thus can minimize the destruction of intrinsic ingredients of the object, maintain a flavor of the object, and dry the object with low power within a short period of time. More specifically, the device comprises: a case having an opening/closing door formed in one side thereof; a thermal accumulative photothermal panel installed at a ceiling of the case; a convecting device for convecting air inside the case; a circulation inducing member which, by means of the convecting device, divides the convected air and induces the air to be convected in a predetermined direction; and a tray portion which is positioned inside the case and on which an object-to-be-dried is loaded, wherein, unlike a hot-air drying method, the device emits high temperature photo-infrared heat and heats a central part of an object-to-be-dried first to expel moisture from the object, whereby the device can shorten drying time and reduce electricity consumption.
