Abstract:
This phototube comprises: a casing including a light transmission part; an electron release part that includes a photoelectric surface and that is positioned inside the casing; an electron capture part positioned, inside the casing, between the photoelectric surface and the light transmission part; and an electroconductive layer configured so as to allow light to pass therethrough, the electroconductive layer being positioned, inside the casing, on the light-transmission-part side relative to at least a part of the electron capture part so as to face the photoelectric surface.
