Abstract:
Conventional photovoltaic power generation equipment has had the problem of high installation costs, because the materials used therein are expensive. The purpose of the present invention is to solve the problem associated with conventional equipment, and provide economical photovoltaic power generation equipment using substances generally considered to be waste material. To achieve the purpose of the present invention, materials that have been disposed of as waste material including the hair of animals such as cows, human hair, and squid ink are collected, and the melanin pigment therefrom is used in photovoltaic power generation. In the future, melanin pigment will be mass produced using iPS cells and the like, will be combined with carbon fibers, and will be used as lightweight power-generating material in aircraft, vehicle bodies of passenger cars and the like, and hulls of ships.
