Abstract:
A physical quantity detection device is provided with: a semiconductor element (30) that has a plate shape comprising a first surface (31a), that has a plurality of diffused resistors (32a, 32b, 32c, 32d, 33a, 33b, 33c, 33d) formed on the first surface (31a) side so as to constitute a Wheatstone bridge circuit, and that outputs a detection signal on the basis of changes in the resistance values of the plurality of diffused resistors (32a, 32b, 32c, 32d, 33a, 33b, 33c, 33d) when a physical quantity is applied thereto; and a support section (10) on which the semiconductor element (30) is mounted. The semiconductor element (30) is provided with a floating section (31d) that is arranged on the first surface (31a) side, that is held by the support section (10), and that is electrically separated from sensing sections (32, 33) of the semiconductor element (30) on which the plurality of diffused resistors (32a, 32b, 32c, 32d, 33a, 33b, 33c, 33d) are formed.
