Abstract:
The purpose of this invention is to mitigate the influence of physical quantities other than tire strain on the measurement results of a strain sensor and enhance the measurement accuracy of the strain sensor. A strain amount detection device according to this invention calculates an estimated value for the load applied to a tire using data indicating the relationship between actually measured strain values, tire air pressure, vehicle speed, tire temperature, and tire load (see FIG. 6).
