Abstract:
The present invention comprises: a skeletal point extraction unit (102) that extracts skeletal points of a vehicle occupant on the basis of a captured image of the vehicle occupant; a normal sitting determination unit (104) that determines, on the basis of situation information relating to the situation of the vehicle or the vehicle occupant, whether the posture of the vehicle occupant is in a normal sitting state; a feature quantity calculation unit (105) that determines whether or not the skeletal points of the vehicle occupant that were extracted by the skeletal point extraction unit (102) are normal sitting skeletal points extracted on the basis of a captured image of the vehicle occupant in a normal sitting state, and, if the skeletal points of the vehicle occupant that were extracted by the skeletal point extraction unit (102) are determined to be the normal sitting skeletal points, calculates a feature quantity for physique determination on the basis of information relating to the normal sitting skeletal points; and a physique determination unit (107) that determines the physique of the vehicle occupant on the basis of the feature quantity for physique determination.
