Abstract:
Provided is a picking assistance system that can improve work efficiency. A picking assistance system 1 is provided with: a plurality of shelves DS, SS that are movable and that can each accommodate at least one article; and a control device 200 that controls the movement of each of the shelves. The control device causes a series of processes, in which a sorting shelf SS selected from among the shelves is moved to a work station selected from among a plurality of work stations WST and an article is moved from a deposit shelf DS disposed at the selected work station to the sorting shelf through a picking operation, to be performed repeatedly while changing the work station until the sorting shelf accommodates a prescribed article.
